Gardnerville Traffic Violations Defense Lawyer

Representing Nevadans in & out of Court Since 1981

Traffic violations in Nevada can range from infractions to misdemeanors and even felonies. When you violate traffic laws in the state, the DMV will add demerit points to your driving record. These points will be assessed based on the type of violation you committed. If you accumulate 12 points within 12 months, you driver’s license can be suspended by the DMV. For more serious misdemeanor or felony violations, you will also face criminal penalties.

Challenging a traffic violation is no different than fighting any other type of charge. You have a right to defend yourself in court, to tell your side of the story, and present evidence in your favor. In order to succeed, it is highly recommended that you retain the services of a qualified attorney who knows the system and how to present a cohesive defense before the judge. At the Law Office of Ronald F. Cauley, Inc., we have been defending those accused of all types of traffic violations—from speeding to felony DUI—for more than three decades. Our Gardnerville traffic violation defense lawyer offers competent and caring legal representation in even the most complex and serious of traffic violation cases.

Traffic violations and their demerit points can include (but are not limited to) the following:
